DAY 1-DIY washer Bracelet/ necklace

Hello ladies, So I have been feeling really crafty lately. It has really helped me a lot through this deployment. Alot of the stuff I've seen on FB boutiques I have found a tutorial on. Plus some of those boutiques are REALLY proud of their stuff so they tend to be a little pricey.

This tutorial I found at www.recycledlovelies.com.

Supplies needed:
Washers
Strips of fabric (optional)
Ribbon. (any size you want works.)

If you have the strips of fabric follow these steps if not skip to step

STEP 1)
Take your strip of fabric and start wrapping the washer until no metal is showing.

Wrapping........

This is how they should look when you get done wrapping. :) Just and idea: Im getting some ACU fabric to wrap them in :) cuuuuuuute.

STEP 2:
Thread ribbon up from behind washer #1. You should leave about 6″ inches of ribbon on the end.

Thread ribbon up along the side of washer #2 and back down through the middle. The end should be threaded back through the middle of washer #1. (Still with me…)

Pull ribbon tight so washer #2 lies flat against washer #1.

Repeat process. Thread ribbon up alongside edge and back down through the middle of washer #3.

Pull ribbon tight to the right so you have all three washers laying flat. Repeat above steps.

Keep it going until you get all of them done. :)

Final product when you dont wrap the washer

Final Product when you DO wrap the washer.

annnnd again.
